It's Christmas Time :)

Christmas Time is here again :)  My favourite time of year :)

Sweet Yarns Will be closing for our Christmas break  - we are here until Saturday Dec 20th.  We will be closed from Dec 21 to Jan 5th and back in full swing on January 6th, 2015.

We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year:)

As you all know we had a beautiful blanket we raffled off in the month of November and collected funds for Northern Cancer Research.  The winner of the blanket was Eileen G.  and we collected $155 - we here at Sweet Yarns will be matching your donation for a grand total of $310.  Thank you to everyone that participated in this great cause

Happy Summer Holidays Everyone

Hello :)

Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful Summer.

It's time for us to close up shop for our Summer Holidays.
We are taking a little break - but rest assured what we will be dreaming up new projects and activities for the fall and winter months that are soon approaching.

I was in my garden yesterday harvesting some wonderful produce and I am loving the wonderful colours of summer.

The store is now closed and we will be back in the swing of things SEPTEMBER 02/2014 rested and full of energy.

Enjoy the rest of summer and happy knitting/crocheting/spinning/weaving :)

Wow what a beautiful day - the sun is shining - the birds are chirping and we are knitting :)

Some very exciting news to share with everyone :)
Sweet Yarns is moving from our current location (2354 Long Lake Rd)
To our NEW LOCATION at 947 Lorne St, Sudbury ONT.  This move will take effect June 3rd and we are very excited for you to come and see our new space.


Until then we are still open for business at our present location ( 2354 Long Lake Rd Unit B) as usual and we love to help you with your new or ongoing project.

Happy Easter everyone (although this morning it looked more like Christmas).


I think spring is finally here - it is so great to see the sun shining this afternoon :)  We have started knitting some wonderful spring and summer items.  Come on in for a visit and to see what we have been up to :)


A reminder that we are CLOSED THIS WEEKEND (April 18 - 21) for Easter Weekend.

Tuesday - OPEN - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday - CLOSED
Thursday - CLOSED
Friday - OPEN - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday - OPEN - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm


This also means that the evening knitting groups on Wednesday and Thursday are cancelled for this week.
